"Bliksem Bredenkamp Burger"
You can use any venison. It serves four.
Ingredients:
400g minced venison
1/4 cup grated cheese (cheddar type)
1 small beaten egg (or half a jumbo egg)
1 grated onion
2 tbs seedless raisins, soaked overnight in sherry
Method:
Mix the whole lot together and divide into four.
Form into flat burgers - not too flat!
Fry to taste in a pan with an olive oil and butter mixture.
Serve on fresh, warm rolls with salads and sauce of your choice.
Cook's Tip:
An excellent sauce with this is to mix half a grated onion with a finely chopped clove of garlic, 1 tsp English mustard, 3 tbs chutney and 1 tbs fine, fresh parsley into a cup of mayonnaise and stir everything together. Do this beforehand so that all the flavours can blend.
"Soft Serve"
Ingredients (use vegan versions):
4-6 large bananas (frozen hard)
3/4-1 cup soymilk powder
fructose (to taste- as sweet as you like)
625ml. distilled water (very cold) (25 oz. /3 cups)
METHOD:
Blend water and soymilk powder together.
Slowly add pieces of frozen bananas.
Keep blender going and help the ice-cream moving with a spatula.
BE VERY CAREFUL NOT TO GET THE SPATULA CAUGHT IN THE BLADES
Blend until smooth or leave a little chunky if you please.
